Why The Coupe?

What do you reach for when neither a plate nor a bowl feels quite right? The Coupe is our answer: shallow and wide, with a higher wall for saucy pastas and heaping salads. We use ours to dress up festive tables, make takeout feel like an occasion, and pull double duty as serveware.

Plate Like A Chef

Plate Like A Chef

Coupes are a restaurant staple for good reason. The broad, uninterrupted surface invites composition—like a canvas for artful plating.

Bring on The Sauce

Bring on The Sauce

The Coupe’s high sides make it particularly good for anything with a little movement: pasta slicked with sauce, brothy beans, well-dressed greens, curry, risotto.

An Everyday Friend, Too

An Everyday Friend, Too

Not just for special occasions, but for times when your salad becomes a fridge-clearer, you made “too much pasta,” or you want to shuttle a whole chicken to the table.

Now in Three Sizes

Now in Three Sizes

The Coupe now comes in three sizes—one fit for each course of your meal. Bread and good olive oil to start, salad next, then onto the main event.

Which Size Is Right For You?

With a wide surface and sloped walls, our Coupes contains the slosh of a sauce while offering space for decorative plating.

    My new favorite form

Before I met the Side Coupe, I was deeply committed to the Breakfast Bowl as my perfectly proportioned and so-fun-to-stack-in-the-glass-doored-cabinet form.

But on a Sunday afternoon in the Walnut St store, Side Coupe in Longleaf caught my eye.

The unassuming size lets me be me. I feel no pressure by this form to over- or under-eat.

I knew I wasn't going home alone that day.

In fact, I took both Longleaf and Heron, a playfully speckled pair, to start a family. I look forward to new generations of the Side Coupe joining them in future seasonal matte colors--the very best to transport and kind of takeout, on my word.
