Donabe Rice Cooker

Using a centuries-old Japanese technique, each Kamado-san donabe is crafted from clay that's rich in fossilized plants and animals. When fired, it develops a porous texture that allows the vessel to emit far infrared rays—a lot like the gentle, constant heat of charcoal cooking. What results is rice as it should be: glossy, fluffy, fork-tender and warm.
