Damson & Black Pepper Jam

Damson plums might rank as one of the top fruits for jamming. A small, tart plum native to Great Britain, Damsons need little to shine. Here, black pepper helps bloom the Damsons into a delightfully complex jam, giving a small Szechuan-like finish without the spice. Serve it with baked brie, use it in a killer ham glaze, or add it to your charcuterie board.
